Tribe Continues Winning Ways

Top-seeded William & Mary remains the only unbeaten team in the World Series Tournament with a 9-4 victory over #5 Penn State and will play the winner of #3 Akron at #4 TAMU Corps of Cadets (4:20 pm CST start, coming up next) for the National Champions crown.

AGGIES STAY HOT

Texas A&M Corps of Cadets stay red-hot at the plate with a 7-1 victory over Akron, forcing a rematch this afternoon at 4:20 pm CST  for a trip to the World Series Title Game Tuesday evening.

Lions Pounce on the Dragons

A 6-RBI game from 1B Ryan DeJesso lifts #5 Penn State over #6 MSU-Moorhead by a final score of 9-4.  The loss eliminates the Dragons from the Tournament.  Penn State will look for redemption tomorrow against #1 seed William & Mary during the 1:10 pm CST game.

Aggies Top the Orediggers!

The #4 TAMU CoC Aggies roll over the Orediggers 8-0, eliminating #2 Colorado School of Mines from the Tournament.

NCBA Holds Youth Clinic in Paducah

The teams competing in the 2014 NCBA DII World Series showed up to the field before the Sunday afternoon and evening games to work with the many local boys and girls that came out to Brooks Stadium for the NCBA Youth Baseball Clinic.  Check out some photos of the action here!

The #2 Orediggers fall short on their comeback attempt as they are trumped by the #3 Akron Zips 2-1.

Aggies Move On!

In a game filled with excitement, Texas A&M Corps of Cadets topped SUNY Brockport 12-7, eliminating Brockport from the Tournament.

Dragons Burn On!

#6 MSU-Moorhead Dragons ignited their crowd with a walk-off RBI in the bottom of the 7th inning to defeat #7 Central Missouri 2-1, eliminating the Mules from the Tournament.

TRIBE WINS

Top-seeded William & Mary earn a 2-1 pitching duel victory over #8 SUNY Brockport in the final game of Day 1.  Games Resume at Brooks Stadium tomorrow at 10:00am
