UHD Starts Off 2-0

UHD resumed their club baseball team this past Saturday after a season away from the NCBA. The Gators swept both ends of a double header against Houston (D1) thanks to the efforts of Clyde Harvey who impressed not only at the plate but on the mound.

Tulane Swept By Georgia (D1)

The Tulane Green Wave dropped all 3 games this past weekend in New Orleans against 20th ranked D1 opponent Georgia. The Green Wave managed to keep the games tight thanks to the solid hitting of Johnny Wachtel.

HCC Falls to LSC (D1)

Houston Community College opened their season this past Saturday at home against Lone Star College (D1).  HCC dropped both ends of the doubleheader which moves their record now to 0-2.

Rice Drops Two to LSC (D1)

Rice hosted Lone Star College (D1) this past weekend at home. The Owls came up short in both games including losing a heart breaker in extra innings to close the doubleheader. Rice was led by veteran Alex Kendall at the plate while Oscar Turner and Jake Gildan were solid on the mound.

TCU Earns First Win of Season

TCU earned their first win of the season this past weekend in non-conference play against SMU thanks to a sensational performance by starting pitcher Tom Elias who tossed 7 innings of 1 hit ball. However, on the weekend the Division 1 Mustangs took 2 of 3 from TCU.

Lee College Forfeits Season

Lee College has decided to forfeit their season. All scheduled conference games including Lee College will become 7-0 victories for the opposing teams.

Tulane Continues Hot Start

The Tulane Green Wave continued their hot start by capturing 2 more wins this past weekend. This time against visiting TCU. The Green Wave were once again led by the outstanding pitching of Matt Kogan and the hitting of Joe Bonner. For the Horned Frogs, Cooper Samples had the hot bat going 3-4 in the series while Tom Elias pitched well on the mound.
