The Corps of Cadets got their conference season started off right with a 3 games sweep over LSC (D2). The Cadets were led by the outstanding pitching of Reed Ryan and the unstoppable force of Brian Bormann at the plate.

HCC postponed their series with visiting SFA due to inclimate weather this past weekend. A rescheduled date is expected later this week.

UHD failed to secure umpires for the Saturday doubleheader with TCU. Per NCBA rules, this constituted 7-0 forfeit wins for Game 1 and Game 2 of the series. On Sunday, baseball resumed with TCU winning big to earn the sweep and a great start in conference play. Will Jennings led the was with a 3-4 performance featuring two doubles, a triple, and 4 RBI to lead the Horned Frogs.

Johnson & Wales University and Lee College have both been placed on probation for violation of NCBA DII rule number 25.01.0.

The TAMU Corps of Cadets team dropped their opening two games against Texas A&M (D1), but the Corps managed to make amends by delivering the top ranked team in D1 their first loss of the season in a 6-5 affair that ended this 3-game non-conference set.
