APRIL 15TH: NCBA DII ROSTER FREEZE

The NCBA roster freeze is on April 15th 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.  After that time, no players can be added to the roster. 0 exceptions.  It is essential that team check their rosters to make sure it is accurate and to correct any issues before the roster freeze.

RAWLINGS NCBA DII WEEK 19 TOP 20 POLL

The Vulcans keep the top spot in the Week 19 Poll while 2-4 also remain the same with Ohio State (DII), University of North Dakota, and University of San Diego, respectively.

High Point University makes the biggest jump going up to #6 after being previously unranked! Penn State (DII) moves up 7 spots from 16th to 9th.

Georgia Southern University (11th), Millersville University (12th), Creighton University (14th), Temple University (16th), and Stevenson University (18th) all crack the top 20 after being unranked.

RAWLINGS NCBA DII WEEK 17 TOP 20 POLL

After a undefeated trip to Panama City Beach, Florida, California University of PA takes over the # 1 spot! Cal U received 13 of the 15 votes.

Ohio State (DII) checks in at #2 while UND drops to 3rd after being #1.

CSU – Pueblo, Cal Miramar, Stanford, and Penn State (DII) all crack the top 20 after being previous unranked.

RAWLINGS NCBA DII WEEK 15 TOP 20 POLL

The University of North Dakota remains at the #1 spot for the second consecutive poll taking 12 of the 15 1st place votes.

California (PA) remains in 2nd and also took the remaining three 1st place votes.

Four new teams teams enter the top 20 after previously being unranked. These teams are Georgia College, Western Carolina University, Embry-Riddle University, and University of Florida (DII).

41 teams in total received votes.

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

South Carolina DI & South Carolina DII have both been placed on probation for violation of NCBA Rule 26.01.1.

Additionally, the player in violation has been suspended 1 game.

26.01.0 A team can be placed on probation if they forfeit 3 or more NCBA scheduled conference games in a single season, forfeit to 2 or more conference opponents in a single season, or if they conduct the baseball operations of their team in a manner not considered acceptable by NCBA standards including the misuse of team social media

RAWLINGS NCBA DII WEEK 13 TOP 20 POLL

The University of North Dakota takes the #1 spot while collecting 11 of the 1st place votes!

The other four 1st place votes were snagged up by the Vulcans for the second straight poll.

San Diego, Central Florida (DII), and Craven Community College crack the top 20 after being unranked in the preseason.

45 different teams in total received votes.

RAWLINGS PRESEASON DII TOP 20 POLL

California (PA) takes the #1 spot in the DII Rawlings preseason poll despite University of North Dakota receiving 11 of the 15 available 1st place votes!

The other four 1st place votes were snagged up by the Vulcans.

55 different teams in total received votes.

PACIFIC TEAM PREVIEWS

DAY 8 OF 8:

PACIFIC TEAM PREVIEWS: The Pacific region is made up of schools in Arizona and California.  Cal – Miramar (2019), Arizona State DII (2017), and San Diego (2016) are the region’s most recent champions. In 2019, Stanford (7-0) and San Diego (5-1) were leading the way  before the COVID shutdown.

St. Mary’s and Humboldt State were the only two teams to play a conference series in the fall. St. Mary’s took 2 of 3 to lead the North at 2-1 heading into the Spring.

GREAT AMERICAN TEAM PREVIEWS

DAY 6 OF 8:

GREAT AMERICAN TEAM PREVIEWS: The Great American region is made up of schools in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Creighton, Kansas, and Texas. Leading the way is 4 time World Series participant (2012,2014,2016,2017) Texas A&M Corps of Cadets along with Missouri Science and Technology making two Division III World Series appearances in 2018 and 2019.

Wayne State leads the North standings at 3-1 while Creighton sits at 1-1. In the Central and the South, the full conference schedule for all teams is set to be played this Spring.
