2026 NCBA Division II Post-Season Format
The 2026 NCBA DII Regional Tournaments will take place May 1-3, 2026. The NCBA makes every effort to host each regional tournament in a location that is neutrally geographic for all teams that make up the region. Sites do change from year to year, so be sure to check back often as location and tournament updates will be posted as soon as specifics are finalized.
All 8 Regional Playoff winners will move onto the 2026 NCBA Division II World Series.
Division II within the NCBA is broken down into 8 Regions. Each Regional Playoff will feature 4 teams in a double elimination style tournament.
Since the Rocky Mountain Region only has 2 conferences, the two Conference Champions and Runner Ups will qualify. With the other 7 Regions being split up into 3-conferences, each conference winner gets an automatic bid and the final team is an at-large selection. Factors when deciding the at-large selection consist of, but are not limited to the following:
-Did the team finish in at least 2nd place in their conference?
-How did the team perform against their conference champion?
-Is the team on probation?
-Has the team forfeited any games?

CHESAPEAKE REGIONAL PLAYOFF

Additional Notes: Verdery Field is home to local high school & travel organizations within the Augusta, GA area. It has hosted numerous big events due to the outstanding quality of the facility. Additional Notes: Vince DeSalvo Stadium is a beautiful facility that has a lot of history behind it. It’s primarily used by the local high school, but has also hosted many collegiate & showcase events through the years. Click Here for more information on the facility.

Additional Notes: Gutchess Sports Complex is a brand new facility that opened in 2019. It features back to back fully turf fields. This complex hosted both the Division I & Division II Regional Tournaments in 2022 & 2023.
