District VIII Playoff

Check out this press release for the District VIII Playoff. Wyoming will face off agaisnt Western State for the District VIII Championship and a trip to the NCBA DII World Series in Paducah, KY.

RAWLINGS DII TOP 15 POLL

Just like the shuffle feature on an iPod, this weeks Rawlings NCBA DII Top 15 has some serious movement from last weeks results. Lots of jumps and falls, but only one new team to the Top 15 this week. Click the link to see the shuffle. Next Poll: 5/9/13.

CLINCHED!

This past weekend, both W&M and Maryland (DII) clinched their conferences, earning them a spot in the District III playoffs in Martinsville, VA! William and Mary clinched with DIII East, while Maryland (DII) clinched the DIII North! Congratulations to them both!

RICE CLINCHES DISTRICT VII EAST TITLE

Rice University has officially clinched the District VII East title. They will now move on to the District VII Playoff in Kingwood, TX on 5/4-5/5 in a 3 game series to determine who will go to the DII World Series to represent District VII.

SFA CLINCHES DISTRICT VII WEST TITLE

Stephen F Austin State University has officially clinched the District VII West title. They will now move on to the District VII playoff in Kingwood, TX on 5/4-5/5 in a 3 game series to determine who will go to the DII World Series to represent District VII.

Tulane Sweeps Houston to Close Season

Tulane finished the season on a high note by sweeping Houston at home in New Orleans.

Big Matchups in Week 21

Over in the District 1 South, there a few weekend series’ to keep an eye on.   

In Happy Valley, The University of Cal ( PA ) takes on the Nittany Lions with huge implications for the automatic bid to the District Tournament in Erie, PA.  

Also over in Moon Township, WVU needs to pick up a couple W’s to keep pace with the top of the Division!
