New Penn Region – 2019 Team Previews

Day 5 of 8 brings us to the New Penn Region.  In 2018 Cal (PA) entered the World Series as the #1 seed after going a perfect 15-0 in conference play & 21-0 overall, which included 3 straight wins at the Regional Playoff.   At the World Series they won their 1st round game though ultimately dropped the next two resulting in them being eliminated from the event. While 2018 was a fantastic year for the Vulcans, you can bet they have bigger goals in 2019.
Heading into the Spring season Cal (5-2) joins Bloomsburg (6-0) & Buffalo (6-0) atop their respective conferences.

New England Region – 2019 Team Previews

Day 4 of 8 brings us to the New England Region.  In just their 2nd year in the league, Siena College went on a run for the ages. After clinching their conference title it was onto the Regional Playoff in Rochester, NY.  In the 2nd round they were run ruled & sent to the losers bracket but fought back & found themselves on Championship Sunday needing to win BOTH games over the same opponent who beat them the day prior. Through blizzard like conditions they found a way to overcome 8 run deficits in both games & ultimately punched their ticket to the World Series.
