DI RULES COMMITTEE REP SEAT UP FOR ELECTION!

If anyone is interested in running for the Division I Rules Committee Team Representative, please CLICK HERE to download the Candidate Form to then submit to [email protected] by 11:59 PM EST Sunday Nov. 24th.

Anyone is invited to apply for the position. The position is a 2-year term. Responsibilities include gathering all rule changes/suggestions/adoptions from Division I teams & presenting them to the rest of the committee at the annual NCBA Rules Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA each summer. You will be speaking on behalf of the teams while being involved throughout the discussions. All expenses paid.

RICKERT NAMED RAWLINGS SPONSOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Justin Rickert has recently been hired full time as the new Rawlings Sponsor Account Manager for the National Club Baseball Association.  With this new position, Justin will be overseeing all the day to day logistics of the NCBA’s partnership with Rawlings Sporting Goods.

DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

Monmouth University has been placed on probation for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season due to NCBA DII Rule 26.01.0.  They forfeited three conference games to Lafayette College during Week 4 of the NCBA Season.

The Annual NCBA Rules Committee Meeting is set for July 27th.  Make sure your voice is heard and send any rule change suggestions to Chad Lowe by July  25th for discussion at the meeting.

SIEMEK NAMED DIRECTOR OF DII BASEBALL OPERATIONS

It is with great excitement to announce that Garrett Siemek has been named the new Director of Division II Baseball Operations effective immediately. After Eric Curitore took over heading up Division I earlier this week, a Director of Division II Baseball Operations was needed. There was no better choice than Garrett especially seeing his fantastic management of Division III this past year.

Garrett will do a marvelous job with the Division II league and we couldn’t be more excited for you all to work with him. For those of you not familiar with Garrett, he played in the NCBA from 2014-2017 at the University of South Carolina where he served as the team’s Vice President for two years in 2016 and 2017. Garrett started working for CollClubSports and the NCBA in February 2018 and has been a tremendous asset from day one and we couldn’t be happier to have him take on this new challenge of running Division II.
