Great American TEAM PREVIEWS: Houston-Downtown is coming off a strong season and looks to be the first team to repeat as Great American Regional Champs since 2018/2019. The Gators return only 6 players from their World Series team but have no shortage of talent. Former DI team, Stephen F Austin, is looking to make their mark and dethrone the champs. In the North, Arkansas is coming off a 13-3 season and returning 16 players, including an All-American.

NEW ENGLAND TEAM PREVIEWS

New England TEAM PREVIEWS: SUNY Cortland is looking to defend their crown but has a hole to climb out of after SUNY Brockport got off to a hot (7-2) start in conference play. In the Central, Marist had a dominant fall season cruising to a (9-0) conference record. The East remains a tight battle with Boston leading the way at (8-1) with an important series against 2nd place Bryant still to play.

DIXIE TEAM PREVIEWS
DAY 4 OF 8
Dixie TEAM PREVIEWS: Central Florida has become a regular in Alton, IL and is looking to make a trip back for the third straight year. The Knights are only returning 5, but have reloaded with plenty of talent. Other familiar faces – Georgia Southern and North Georgia, along with former DI teams Western Carolina and UNCW are looking to make a splash and represent the Dixie Region.

CHESAPEAKE TEAM PREVIEWS

Chesapeake TEAM PREVIEWS: West Chester has gotten off to a hot (6-0) start in conference to take a commanding lead in the the South, on their quest to repeat as National Champions. In the North, former DI team, Sacred Heart, has also jumped out to an early lead with a (7-2) start to hold a 2 game lead over Fordham and Quinnipiac. The Central remains tight with TCNJ and Stony Brook sitting at (4-1) with Rutgers on their heels at (4-2).

NORTHERN PLAINS TEAM PREVIEWS

NORTHERN PLAINS TEAM PREVIEWS: UW – La Crosse gets off to a hot (9-0) start to lead the Central. Can the Eagles fend off defending Regional Champs, MSOE, with a looming conference matchup? The East remains tight with Ferris State and Bowling Green both sitting at (3-0) with Grand Valley State at (2-1). North Dakota has the early lead in the West with a record of (3-0) with plenty of games left to be played.

NEW PENN TEAM PREVIEWS
DAY 1 OF 8
NEW PENN TEAM PREVIEWS: The Buckeyes are looking for revenge after falling just short of a second straight World Series title. Ohio State returns 18 players from last season and sit 1 game behind rival, Indiana, in the the West. In the Central, West Virginia got off to a hot (5-0) start but have Kent State on their heels. In the East, Old Dominion and Salisbury both sit at (3-0) to hold an early lead in the conference with plenty of games left to be played.
A lot is yet to be determined in the NEW PENN this Spring with an exciting finish coming. Be sure to check out all of the Team Previews to see if anyone can dethrone the Buckeyes!

DII RULES COMMITTEE REP SEAT UP FOR ELECTION!
If anyone is interested in running for the Division II Rules Committee Team Representative, please CLICK HERE to download the candidate form to then submit to [email protected] by 11:59 PM EST Friday, January 24th.
Anyone is invited to apply for the position. The position is a 2-year term. Responsibilities include gathering all rule changes/suggestions/adoptions from Division II teams & presenting them to the rest of the committee at the annual NCBA Rules Meeting each summer. All expenses paid. The Rules Rep will also have a say & vote in all rule discussions throughout the meeting.
Deadline to apply is Friday, January 24th.

NCBA DII ADDS LINCOLN UNIVERSITY
NEW TEAM ALERT!
Lincoln University has joined the NCBA for the 24/25 season!
We look forward to having the Oaks on board this season!
They join LIU – Post, Bentley University, Ohio University, Augustana College, Utah State University, Iona University, University of Richmond, Butler University, Furman University, Drake University, John Carroll University, Hampden-Sydney College, Quinnipiac University, Bryant University, Gardner-Webb University, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, University of Vermont, and Central Washington University to bring our total to 17 new teams for the next season.
