Ryan was born and raised in La Jolla, CA and currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended La Jolla High School where he was a three-sport athlete playing football, basketball, and baseball. Starring in baseball as a pitcher and outfielder, he continued his baseball playing career at Whittier College for one year before transferring to Indiana University. At Indiana University, Ryan joined the club baseball team his Sophomore year and was apart of their Division II team’s inaugural season. After one season on DII, he was moved up to the DI team his Junior year where he started in the outfield the next two seasons. During his senior year, Ryan was elected as the team’s Event Coordinator and helped the Hoosiers win their first conference title since 2017.

Ryan graduated in the spring of 2025 from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing & Management with minors in Business, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. During his time at Indiana University, he was also a part of the Sport Scouting Club and helped as a student manager with the Indiana Softball Team.

In his free time, Ryan enjoys going out to the bars, bowling, playing slow-pitch softball, and traveling.
