Hunter was born and raised in Marcellus, NY,where he still currently lives. He attended Marcellus High School, wherehe was a two-sport athlete playing baseball and soccer. He starred in baseballas a pitcher and outfielder, playing varsity for 3 years. He continued hisbaseball career at SUNY Brockport, where he joined the team his freshman year.He played on the Division I team his freshman and sophomore yearswhile being the team treasurer his sophomore year. His junior year,Brockport was moved down to Division II, where Hunter was thetreasurer his Junior year before becoming the president his senior year.As president his senior year, he led Brockport to its first World Series titlein 2026 and its third-ever World Series appearance. 

Hunter graduated in the spring of 2026 from SUNY Brockportwith a Bachelor's degree in both Accounting and Finance. During his time atBrockport, he was also a part of the Honors program, completing an Honorsthesis on Sports Gambling in the College environment.
