Ryan was born in Falls Church, Virginia, and grew up in nearby Chantilly, VA. He attended Chantilly High School, where he lettered in baseball and graduated in 2018. Ryan then attended Penn State University, where he joined the club baseball team as a freshman. As a senior in the 2021-2022 school year, Ryan was the president of the Penn State Baseball Club and a starting infielder on the DI team, helping to lead the PSBC to World Series appearances by both their DI and DII teams. 

Ryan graduated from Penn State in 2022 with a degree in Telecommunications, and minors in Sports Studies and Digital Media Trends & Analytics. He now lives in Conshohocken, PA and coaches a local travel baseball team in addition to his full-time job as a Client Success Associate for a large CPA firm.
