Nate was born in Arlington, VA and now resides in Belmont, NC. Nate played baseball growing up through high school and joined the club ball team when he enrolled at UNC Charlotte in 2011. He became president of the club for his junior and senior years while working towards his BS in mechanical engineering with a motorsports concentration. 

After graduating in 2015, Nate stayed in the Charlotte area working for various engineering firms. In his free time, he enjoys going to local minor league sports games (go Knights, go Checkers) and going to the US National Whitewater Center with his wife and dogs.
