Chad attended The Ohio State University and was a starter on two NCBA World Series Teams in 2001 and 2002. He graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration majoring in Marketing and Logistics and minoring in Criminology and Sociology.  In 2004 he graduated from Seton Hall University with an M.B.A. in Sports Management and accepted the first full-time position with the NCBA as the Director of Marketing helping secure key sponsor accounts DeMarini and Rawlings.  He also served as the Great Lakes Regional Director for 9 years and has continued to assist the NCBA with District and Regional tournaments.

He currently resides in San Diego, CA with his wife Ashley and works as the Fiscal Operations Manager in the EVC Office at UC-San Diego.  He is also in his 5th year of the PhD program for Sports Management at Ohio State.  

He has coached both the DI & DII Club teams at Ohio State the past 10 seasons compiling a record of 219 wins and 81 losses including eight conference titles with the DI team and two playoff appearances with the DII team.
