District Playoffs

2017 NCBA Division-II Post-Season Format

All 8 District Playoffs will be held May 5-7, 2017. All 8 District Playoff winners will move onto the 2017 Division II World Series.

Division II within the NCBA is broken down into 8 Districts. Each District Playoff will feature 4 teams in a double elimination style tournament. 7 of those Districts (District I, II, III, IV, V, VI & VII) are made up of 4 separate conferences. All 4 conference winners will automatically qualify for their respective Playoff.

District VIII is made up of 3 conferences. All 3 conference winners will automatically qualify for the District VIII Playoff, while the 4th team will be chosen via the At Large Bid. Factors taken into account by the NCBA when selecting an At-Large Bid consist of but are not limited to:

-Did the team finish in at least 2nd place in their conference?

-How did the team perform against their conference champion?

-Is the team on probation?

-Has the team forfeited any games?

**EACH INDIVIDUAL DISTRICT PLAYOFF BRACKET WILL BE POSTED UNDER IT’S RESPECTIVE DISTRICT PLAYOFF LISTING BELOW.
